Easy Edible Cookie Dough Recipe. What else do I have to say?

I mean, sometimes we just need something a little sweet in our lives and that is where edible cookies dough comes in.

As a kid I always tried eating the cookie dough, but we all know we are not supposed to because the raw ingredients (egg and flour) could possibly make us sick.

Makes: 2 cups cookie dough

Takes: about 15 minutes

Difficulty: 1 out of 5 (Perfect for Kids)

Prep:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (173 degrees C).

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cup all purpose flour (baked)

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup half melted unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1-2 tablespoons milk

3/4 cup (for a full batch) chocolate chips, white chocolate, or M&M's (or whatever your heart desires)

Instructions:

Step 1 - Bake the Flour

Place the 1 1/4 cup of flour onto a baking sheet, spread it around until it is flat, and bake it for about 10 minutes.

Because flour is a raw ingredient, we want to make sure we are baking it before we are putting it into our cookie dough.

Step 2 - Mix Butter and Sugar

In a medium bowl, mix together the 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup half melted butter until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes with a hand mixture).

Step 3 - Fold in Salt and Vanilla Extract

When the butter and sugar is fluffy, using a spatula, fold in the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and the 1/2 teaspoon salt. Step 4 - Adding in the Flour

When the flour has cooled, add the flour directly into our medium sized bowl and start to mix.

If your batter seems dry, add in the 1-2 tablespoon milk (or more if needed) and also your 3/4 cup add-in pieces and mix until well combined.

Step 5 - Enjoy!

Grab yourself a cup of milk, a large spoon, and enjoy this tasty treat!
