Bake for Fun, not for Function

Baking is a science. It involves experimenting and discovering what works and what does not work. Therefore there are some rules. 

1) Be okay when things go wrong because they will. 

- If things to go wrong, it can be caused by multiple reasons; yeast, spices, you, your cats, ect. It can't always be perfect. 

2) Be ready to get your hands dirty.

- I don't think there has been one time where I have baked and did not have to wash my hands at least 10 times. 

3) Bake because you love it and enjoy it, not because you feel like you have to.

- There have been multiple times where I have baked when I was in a bad mood and it showed in my baking.
