This has to be one of the most delicious and scrumptious tarts around.

Makes: 1 8 inch tart and 2 small tarts
Takes about: 2 hours
Difficulty: 1 out of 5
Prep:
Butter two small round tart dishes and one 8 inch tart dish and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Ingredients:
3 pears
1 cup all-purpose flour + 1/4 cup for baking prep
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup unsalted butter - room temperature
1/2 cup sugar + 1 1/2 tablespoon for topping
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons fresh orange
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions:
- Step 1 - Peal, Cut, and Decor Pears
Peal the 3 pears, cut them in half, and then decor them.

- Step 2 - Mix Flour and Baking Powder
In a medium bowl, mix together the 1 cup of flour and 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder and then set aside.

- Step 3 - Cream Butter
In a large mixing bowl, cream the 1/2 cup butter and then mix in 1/2 cup of sugar until fluffy.

- Step 4 - Add the Egg
Mix the one egg into the butter and sugar mixture until completely blended.

- Step 5 - Add in Flour
Add the flour gradually until completely incorporated.

The dough will be very sticky.
- Step 6 - Press Dough into Tart Pans
Using the extra 1/4 cup of flour, dip fingers in flour and then press the dough into the tart pans evenly.

- Step 7 - Add in Pears
Place the sliced pears into the tart dishes cut side down.

- Step 8 - Make Topping
In a small bowl, mix together the extra 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and then sprinkle it over the pears and dough.

- Step 9 - Bake
Place the tarts into the oven for about 40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

There may be cinnamon that is dry on the top of the pears and that is okay.
- Step 10 - Make the Glaze
Warm up the 3 tablespoons of fresh orange and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in a small pot until warm.

- Step 11 - Brush Glaze Over Tart
Using a pastry brush, brush the warmed orange and lemon juice over the tarts and pears until completely covered.

- Step 12 - Serve and Enjoy!
Plate the tart and add a little homemade whip cream if desired!
