If you love pizza, just make your own pizza.

It is super easy, tasty, better than store bought, and does not take much time.

Just do it!

Makes about: 2 12" pizzas

Takes about: 1.5 hours

Difficulty: 1 out of 5

Pizza Twists - Makes About 16-20 Twists

Ingredients:

3 1/2 - 4 cups flour

1 teaspoon sugar

2 1/4 teaspoons instant dry yeast

2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 cups water - 110 degrees F

Instructions:

- Step 1 - Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix 3 1/2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 1/4 teaspoons instant dry yeast, and 2 teaspoons of salt on the opposite side of the bowl of where the yeast was dumped in.

Salt will kill the yeast, that is why you don't pour one on top of the other, but mixing with the other ingredients will be okay. So, mix it thoroughly before adding the water.

- Step 2 - Mix in Water

Add 1 1/2 cups of water that is at 110 degrees F to the flour mixture and mix until it starts to clump.

- Step 3 - Knead Dough

Once the dough starts to stick together flour the counter and pour the dough onto the floured surface.

Keep kneading the dough until it all starts to come together.

If it seems too wet, add more flour.

If it seems too dry, add more water.

Knead the dough until it becomes smooth.

- Step 4 - Oil a Bowl

Spread oil inside a large bowl until filly coated and place the ball of dough directly in the middle of the bowl.

- Step 5 - Let Dough Rise

Cover the dough and let rise for an hour without disturbing.

- Step 6 - Split Dough in Half and Rise a Little Longer

Once the dough has risen, split the dough in half (this separates the dough into the two pizza crusts) and let rest for another 15 minutes.

- Step 7 - Make Some Pizza or Some Twists

Once rested, this dough is ready to make pizza, twists, or even flat bread.
