Banana bread is amazing on it's own, but adding Nutella brings this bread to the next level.

Makes: 1 loaf

Takes About: 1 hours - 1 1/2 hours

Difficulty: 1 out of 5

Prep:

Grease a bread loaf pan well and preheat the over to 350 degrees F.

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter - room temperature

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

3-4 ripe bananas - mashed, but chunky

1/2 cup - 1 cup Nutella

Instructions:

- Step 1 - Cream the Butter

In a large bowl, cream the butter until smooth - 3-5 minutes.

- Step 2 - Add the Sugar

Add the 3/4 cup sugar into the creamed butter and mix until fluffy - 3 minutes

Scrape the sides to make sure everything is incorporated

- Step 3 - Add the Eggs

Add the 2 eggs one at a time into the sugar and butter mixture.

Scrape the side.

- Step 4 - Add the Vanilla

Add the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract into the mixture and mix until completely incorporated.

- Step 5 - Add the Dry Ingredients

Add the 2 cups of flour and 1 teaspoon baking soda and mix until fully incorporated. Do not over mix.

- Step 6 - Add Banana

Mash the 3-4 bananas until a few chucks are left.

Once mashed, mix the banana's into the batter with a spatula until completely incorporated and one consistency.

- Step 7 - Fill the Tin

Place 1/3 of the batter in the bottom of the the bread loaf tin and dollop a few spoonfuls of Nutella on top.

Spoon another third of the batter into the bread loaf pan and top with a few dollops of Nutella again.

Spoon the remaining batter into the bread loaf pan.

Using a butter knife, swirl the batter around to mix in the Nutella.

It does not have to be perfect, because who does not like chucks of Nutella?

- Step 8 - Bake

Place the loaf in the oven for 40-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

The baking time varies a lot because it depends on each oven and how big the loaf pan is.

Start with 40 minutes, check the loaf, add a few more minutes, check again, and keep adding more time until the loaf is cooked all the way through.

Let the loaf cool completely before removing it from the pan.

- Step 9 - Enjoy!

This delicious loaf does not need anything added, it is perfect on it's own.

Little Nutella muffins can be made as well, just reduce the bake time.
