Ingredients:

- Dough

2 1/2 cups (425 grams) all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

3/4 cups (180 grams) milk

2 tablespoons (30 grams) unsalted butter

1 egg - beaten

1 egg as an egg wash

- Filling

1/2 cup Nutella

Prep:

Place a piece of parchment paper on a large baking sheet and set it aside.

Instructions:

- Step 1 - Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix together 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and 2 1/4 teaspoons of active dry yeast.

Mix the sugar and salt first and then add the yeast. Salt can kill your yeast.

- Step 2 - Warm up The Others

In a small saucepan, warm 3/4 cups of milk and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter until warm (about 110 degrees C).

- Step 3 - Mix the Remaining Dough Ingredients

Pour the milk and butter into the flour mixture and add the 1 egg. Mix until the dough starts sticking together.

- Step 4 - Knead the Dough

Place the dough on a floured surface and knead until a smooth ball is formed.

If the dough is too sticky to handle, add a little more flour, but not too much because it will make it dry.

- Step 5 - Let Rise

Butter a large bowl well. Place the ball of dough in the center and cover with plastic wrap for an hour, or until it doubles in size, in a warm place.

- Step 6 - Roll Dough Out

Lightly flour a counter and roll out the dough into a large rectangle until it is about 1/8 inch think.

- Step 7 - Spread Out Nutella

Spread the 1/2 cup of Nutella over the dough until completely covered.

- Step 8 - Roll Dough

Roll the Nutella covered dough into a long log.

Make sure the log is an even thickness.

- Step 9 - Cut Log in Half

Cut the log in half to make two logs.

Cut each of these logs down the middle, but leave an inch at one end to keep the dough intact.

- Step 10 - Twist the Two Halves

Taking each end of the dough, twist them around each other and place them on the baking sheet that was prepped.

- Step 11 - Preheat and Rise

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

While the oven is preheating, cover the twists and rise for 30 minutes.

- Step 12 - Bake!

Bake the twists for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

- Step 13 - EAT!

Enjoy these delicious twists with a large glass of milk.
