Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls

These little American balls are the perfect snack. They are healthy, filled with protein, and even kids love them.

Makes about: 24 balls
Takes about: 40 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup oatmeal - old-fashioned oats
2/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup flax seed
1/3 cup agave nectar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Step 1 - Mix it All Together
Mix the 1 cup old fashioned oats, 2/3 cup of unsweetened coconut flakes, 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter, 1/2 cup of flax seed, 1/3 cup of agave nectar, 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.


- Step 2 - Refrigerate
Refrigerate the mix for 30 minutes to let it stiffen up.
- Step 3 - Make Balls
Roll about 1 tablespoon to 2 tablespoons worth of mix into a ball about 1 inch in diameter.

- Step 4 - Enjoy These Delicious Little Balls

This recipe was found on "Gimme Some Oven." There is not much that can be changed about this recipe, but I used un-toasted coconut because I like a milder taste of coconut.
