Origin: American

What can go wrong with pretzels, chocolate, caramel, and almonds? Nothing.

These things are addictive with salty, sweet, and easy to eat.

Makes about: 35 (or more)

Takes about 5 minutes

Difficulty: 0.25 out of 5

Prep:

Preheat oven to 350 degree F and place parchment paper on a baking sheet.

Ingredients:

35 twist pretzels - small and salted

35 chocolate covered soft caramels

35 almonds

Instructions:

- Step 1 - Lay Out the Pretzels

Place 35 twist pretzels onto your parchment paper in rows.

- Step 2 - Place a Chocolate on Top of Pretzel

Place 35 chocolate covered caramels in the middle of each pretzel.

1 chocolate for every pretzel.

- Step 3 - Bake

Bake the pretzels and chocolates in the oven for 2-3 minutes; just until the chocolates are soft.

You can tell when they are soft without touching them by the glossiness in the chocolates and they start to look a little droopy.

- Step 4 - Press Almonds into the Chocolates

1 at a time, press 35 almonds into the warm, slightly melted chocolates.

There should be one almond per pretzel and chocolate pair.

Make sure when you press the almond into the middle of the chocolate, you keep the chocolate in the middle of the pretzel.

- Step 5 - Cool

Let the pretzels sit for at least 2 hours.

This will allow the chocolates to cool and set again.

If your home is hot or if it is hot at all these little treats will have a hard time setting, but they are still delicious. They are just sticky and messy too.

- Step 6 - Eat all 25

Once they are cooled try not to eat them all.

Not trying to tell you what to do, but these are so addictive that it is hard not to eat every single one.
